Watched the original "Slap Shot" (1977) again last night. Those cars now look soooo ancient.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

    Trading Paces

One of those box-office success movies that actually aged very well. It manages to say the quiet part out loud while still being very entertaining. ... there are many layers to these quiet parts.

My wife of all people loves this movie. The last video game I saw her play was Guitar Hero over a decade ago but for whatever reason she just loves this movie. Might be a book thing. I know this was based on a book series and she was the Children's librarian for a long time in Rifle and I think she read the book because of that. She used to read a ton of kids and young adults books so she knew which ones were good for the kiddos.

M7 is an 80's baby. Great list, with some real classics. Shout out Back to School. Decades later, Rodney still don't get no respect!
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
