    Default How do I...(computer ?)

Is it possible to transfer specific documents from my desktop to my laptop? I don't want to transfer everything...just specific documents. If so, how do I do this?

Probaby can do it if you have a flash drive. If not, zip up the files you want and either email it to your email address or upload it too a free server like Rapidshare.com and then re-download it to your laptop. But the flash drive is the easiet way to do it.

Do you have them both on a network?

Are you looking to do the transfer one time, or on a routine basis?

Do you have a USB flash drive or DVD burner?

Are you simply talking about word documents or similar docs in your "My Documents" folder?

What operating system is on each one?

Yea, zip up files like winzip or winrar. But, flash drive is faster or like Tned said, maybe burn a disc with the info and then copy and paste it on your laptop.

Lightscribe is a DVD burner that will also create a monocrhome image on the face of the CD after burning the data, so you don't have to manually label the CD/DVD.

Basically, it is just a DVD burner.

Yea, you would just burn a Data Cd and then copy the files from the cd to your laptop.

I would burn them to cd's. If your not very computer savvy, I would do that or email them to yourself.

There was a guy over at Mania who does them. I can give you his name if you want and you can go on there and ask him to make you one.
