It shouldn't take 2 years to ban these transitions. Any decent computer program can correct this problem in under an hour.A new federal law signed by President Barack Obama on Wednesday will force states to ban all such transactions within the next two years or face losing federal funding.

How do you not get out of the car? Roll the widows don and G T F O. If the widows don't work for some reason then worse comes to worse you wait till the car fills up and the pressure is equal and open the door and swim away.
I just don't see how driving down a boat ramps ends up in death.

Think about that. The car is sinking as you are sitting. It's going to the bottom....you have to think fast, react fast, and hope NOTHING slows you down......either getting the window down as water is rushing into your face..you hope you swallow enough air. What if your car has nothing but electic windows....and can't roll down under water? Then you have to simply sit still until the car hits bottom and the car fills up???crap... now you better hope that the car door DOES open!! What if you can't get the door open as simply as you say it will open? Not to mention... you are sitting in a car at the bottom of the lake, waiting for it to fill..... no pressure.
I guess one doesn't know what kind of boat ram this is.... is it one where it drives gradually down....or did she have enough speed to drive past the ramp... and it drops off?
