One thing that I have learned...I always lose when I get pocket aces. It is the kiss of death for me. Every single time.

Was at the final table at the last tournament...down to 5 players. Drew pocket aces. I was slow playing...guy all the sudden goes all in after the flop. Nothing on board to worry about (straight or flushes). The guy freaking had an offsuit Jack/10...draws a jack on the turn and catches a 10 on the river.

I was playing in a $100 buy in at The Rio. I got pocket aces. And, I'm on the button. Guy in first position makes a big first bet. He gets a caller and then I go all-in. Both call.
My AA against AK (original raiser) and JJ (caller)

Flop comes - KKJ

And the end of my tourney.

I usually have the worst luck with pocket queens.

I think we need to plan it around a Bronco game, either in person or at CSWIL's house. One of the two. CSWIL can get a side of beef for it.

Yeah. Everyone is a pro now.

I played Hold em with some of my degenerate gambler buddies in high school and college. Rounders is one of my favorite movies. When it came out, most people had no idea what was going on when they were playing cards. Now everyone is Phil Helmuth.
