    Default Music Trivia

There were two members of the Beatles who never made it into the famous lineup of Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Who were those two musicians?
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Well, why did you answer "Pete Best and somebody else" if you didn't know about somebody else?

Well, just to move it on...

Stuart Sutcliffe was the other Beatle. He played bass with the band in their Hamburg days, he fell in love with a girl in Hamburg, Astrid Kirchherr, and then not too long later died of a brain hemorrhage.

Who played the solo on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" on the White Album?

Yeah. After the session, Harrison gave him the tape of the song and he ended up going to L.A. and was playing it for some people. Word got out and George called him and chewed his ass. They didn't speak for a while, but eventually became friends again and Clapton stole his wife, Patty. That's who he wrote most the Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs for.
