Even with as bad as we are right now, it's comforting to know that at least we're not the Raiders.

"Congrats to Josh McDaniels. he fully blew up a 10-7 playoff team in less than a year, constantly threw players under the bus, and now has his boy Stidham playing QB"
I read through the comments to the post you cited, I found one most insightful:

I was actually reading this sub as a Broncos fan to see if anyone figured out that what he did to the Raiders was EXACTLY what he did to the Broncos. I have a friend at work who is a lifelong Raiders fan and we’ve seen this coming the entire time. Just a matter of time until he sent Carr packing with zero plan at QB for the future.
McDaniels MO seems to be come in, get rid of above average QB while trying to bring in his old Patriots backup (he tried to trade for Matt Cassel with Denver, but had to settle for Kyle Orton). He then went on to draft “his guy” in Tebow and buried Denver with a hopeless record.
But it worked out for the Broncos in the end - McDaniels was so bad Demver drafted Von Miller with the #2 overall pick McDaniels had earned. And since the Broncos had absolutely nothing at QB, they were in position to get Peyton Manning when he became available. So, in a roundabout way, McDaniels was reaponsible for the Broncos last Super Bowl title.
I’ve been telling anyone who would listen that Nathaniel Hackett was the second worst coach in the league all season - behind this guy. I am no fan of the Raiders, but I pure straight hate McDaniels with a fire hotter than 1000 suns. And the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Edit - and don’t forget… McDaniels also filmed other team’s practices illegally while coaching the Broncos getting them fined and losing them a third round pick. He brought his cheating ways from New England with him. And New England was happy to take that cheater back when the Broncos fired him! If there is any doubt that the Patriots are cheaters and love to cheat, that move should have erased all doubt.

In addition to what the poster said, McDouche actually spent a year with the Rams before going to the Patsies. He was OC when Bradford was QB, and the offense stunk royally. McDouche is just one of those guys that has a “system”, and he’s not adjusting it to the QB. He makes the QB adjust to him, and not all can; and he doesn’t care.
Both are 100% conjecture. The Raiders aren’t that cash poor anyhow. The contact issue is that his next two years become fully guaranteed for injury. If you’ve decided you don’t want him, no matter the reason being cash or coach, you don’t risk an injury guaranteeing him two more years on your payroll.
rest - https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl...rr/ar-AA15KIehLas Vegas Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels announced on Wednesday that Derek Carr will be benched for the remainder of the season.*
While performance is the obvious reason the move was made, it was not the only motive.
The Raiders want to preserve Carr’s health in anticipation of a potential offseason trade, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports.

Sources: #Raiders have benched Derek Carr in part to preserve his health for a potential trade this offseason. Don't want to risk injury, and his market could heat up after the Super Bowl, sources say, though option to stay still on the table.

Yes they swept us. Yes they had a better record. Yes we are currently coachless. I would not trade spots with the Raiders for anything. They have at least another year of McDouche. Suckas
