Gruden is desperate.
If Bryant is the answer - what is the question?
^This
The Raiders offense stalled and there were some dropped passes. But the bigger problem was pass protection and bad mechanics by Carr. I dont think Bryant will fix the problem that Gruden is looking for because we were able to contain a much better QB in Wilson who is more versatile as a QB. I think (so as long as we dont turn it over again) we can beat them just as bad as LA did.
Apparently Cooper was open on some deep passes.
I haven't seen the second half yet because it was too late on the East Coast and I had to be at work early, but from what I heard, Wade Phillips made adjustments while Carr wet the bed. Talib said the Rams didn't know what to expect and when they did, they adjusted. If Oakland plays the same way in the first half, is Denver's staff smart enough to do what Wade did? That's not a rhetorical smack question, I don't know much about your staff outside of Vance Joseph's goal post of a smile.
Which reminds me... King.
