    So one of the ski hills 3 hours away already opened yesterday, the earliest they have opened in 35 years! Skiing should be great this year!

    Meanwhile its 72 degrees here.

    so... cold front moved in. Snowed yesterday and is 9 degrees right now. At least the ski hills are packed with snow?

    The good news is we haven't accumulated as much snow as Hawaii yet

    It's nice here today, but is going to be nasty the rest of the week. Lows in the single digits, highs below 30 - some days in the teens. Snow is on it's way!

    Wife is actually excited. We recently got her a Subaru Cross Trek, and she's anxious to see how it handles in the snow.

    My wife has a Subaru Forester, and had an Outback before that. Subaru's are definitely made for the snow.

    It's freakin cold up here in our snow globe of Alaska, looks like a winter wonderland.

    I'm going to be in Great Falls this weekend, looked at the forecast and its the same. I was there last year at this time and it was actually the coldest place on earth that day, I'm not exaggerating, it was the coldest freaking place on earth!
