It's no fun when you don't. About 10ish years ago we had an ice storm that knocked down power in most of the state. We spent two weeks bouncing from home to home with a young infant. We stayed with our neighbor the first night, moved into a tae kwon do dojo a friend of mine owned and then when my parents finally got power back stayed with them before our house finally got its power back. Came home to a broken pipe and a mess.

I recommend to anyone, if you are building a new home, take some of your budget and have a built in generator installed.

Those are reasons why I will never live in the Northeast.

Outdoor Soccer in the winter in Pa.

Snow just started falling here. We're set to get close to 20 inches. Hunkered down and ready to watch it all fall.

Today was indoor. I coach middle school and am hoping to get my kids to the outdoor fields on MLK day for some fun in the snow
