Wind chills in the single digits right now with 30+ MPH winds and snow. I can barely see across the street.

My step dad's told me stories about the cold weather and snow drifts in the Dakota's. I don't know if my narrow behind could stand it.

I don't miss waking up to the 5' snow drifts in front of the garage. For the Christmas blizzard of 09 (which shutdown Minot), I had about an 8+' snow drift.
Whenever it's windy here, temps are usually warmer. It's a damn mess around the neighborhood streets/driveways right now, nothing but ice. I'd rather have snow drifts

My wife was in Texas visiting me for that blizzard. On her way home she was stranded in Minneapolis because Rapid was shut down.

Might be the coldest morning yet here this winter, -6 wind chill, and the wind is actually blowing...

It's 10 degrees here. When I woke up this morning it was 7, felt like -3. It's supposed to be in the low 40s today so we'll see.

The heater in my car always sucks in cold weather like this. It never really produced hot air. Until this morning when I realized I was not using the recirculate button. The air got warm in a hurry.

Well I checked for where I am now, in MA so I checked for my house and that says 7 feels like -9. Downright balmy at home.
