Warm, sunny and dry... again. Nice weather for hiking, biking and camping in any combination you (or me) may desire.
    Merry.

You can repay me when it's over 100 for three months straight.

Right now, I'm lovin' it here. Summer, not so much.

It's a little warmer than usual here also. I still have to run the AC on occasion. The AC is usually off in Oct. until May or so.

Lots of flood warnings still here in North Wales as well as some roads closed.

Up in Cumbria in Northern England, it's absolute bedlam.

Northside bridge outside Workington washed away

A 44 year old police officer, PC Bill Barker died when the bridge collapsed and he was washed into the river Derwent.

Record levels of rain have fallen there, over a foot of rain, the worst ever in the region. Workington MP Tony Cunningham said the flood was "of biblical proportions" and seen "once every 1,000 years.

There are about 8 feet of snow on the ground here in the boat. nothing like shoveling snow and feeling it run down the back of your neck, about as fun as smashing your own nuts with a hammer.

    I'd rather shovel snow.
