Hell if I know. It's been a pretty light year for snow so far. What highway do you usually take to get there?

It's stopped raining but it's still bloody cold.

I-70 is usually pretty clear, unless there's a massive storm. If the weather is nice, you should try US-285 to 50. Much more scenic.

We are going to go the fastest way. Three hours on a plane and then a 5 hour drive.

285 would save you almost 35 miles...

True. You should try it on the way back to DIA. It's a pretty drive and you can still maintain good speeds. According to mapquest, the driving time is virtually identical - with 285 actually 20 minutes less.

Freezing my azz off. I love Colorado, but am sick and tired of the cold and snow during the winter.

try living in North Dakota! And no I didn't choose to live here, Uncle Sam decided to put my wife here!

Anyway, it's beyond cold with light snow and next week will get worse as far as temps and wind chill. I'm lucky I get to work outside all day!
