I just ventured out in the Bomb Cyclone. Pretty nasty out there. I got a haircut and went to Home Depot to get paint. Gonna paint the basement today. Freshen it up, if you will.

The Weather Bomb wasn't too bad by the time it reached here.
I think people on the actual coast got it worse than us.
We got about a foot of snow and the winds were 50-60 km/h most of the night.

On Tues, after our 51 degree day, 40+mph gusts, and just about all the snow had melted.....on Wed, we received about 4" of wet, heavy snow. Now, temps are getting a little back to normal, but still not the snow we normally get. This pic from NASA shows the contrast in our weather pattern, and things are out of the norm this year. Crazy to think it's been colder in Texas than here around Anchorage. Probably explains why the fires have been so bad in California.

I was there at that time, temps were in the 32-45 range. I should have stayed home, it was warmer.
Not warmer now though, we got like 6 inches of snow over the weekend and its currently 5 degrees. skiing is great though!
