-17... this sucks but at least it's not Alaska. Nomad you close to the area that is getting 10" of snow an hour? They alreafy got 76" of snow in the last few hoirs and are expecting 30" more!
It's cold, no snow, and I can't remember the last time we've gotten snow. Maybe a few inches on the ground, when normally we have 3' on the ground. There is no snow storms in the foreseeable future for around here (Anchorage bowl).
The 10" an hour storm was about a 3-4 weeks ago at Thompson Pass, which is a few hours east of here. It was warm and raining buckets here, while blinding snow up there.

20,14 with the wind chill. We went snow shoeing.
75 and the northern babes are out on the beach.
Cold, friggin cold. Was supposed to go to Branson today through new year in the RV, but my RV can't handle the teens and single digits we are going to have. Not sure I would have been able to handle walking the dogs in these temps even if the RV could stand up.
Wind chill was -23 this morning. My snot froze to my upper lip almost the second I stepped outside this morning.
Kill me now.
I miss those days living in NoDak, and being -20 with a -30+ wind chill....not really. Your vehicle runs very sluggish, and it feels like you're tires are rocks. I was there for 6 winters in NoDak, and this is my 6th winter in Alaska. At least you guys are getting snow to go with that cold, we're only single digits, and suck with none.
