I finally signed up for Reddit last week, based on some stock stuff I've been following (not WSB, but I did learn about them last week on another sub). It's like a giant forum for everything in the sky.

It used to be people would come here and other forums to see news, rather than searching a bunch of sites, but now you just wait for Tweets. Most people are deeply tied to Facebook.

It's just a different time. There are a handful of specialty forums (AVSForum and things like that), that still have some traction, but nothing like a decade or so ago.
