Happy to do so. My Mum's gone three rounds against this disease.
She was first diagnosed in '96, had a recurrence in 01 and then again at the beginning of this year.
The medical care she's had has been fantastic and they keep making progress all the time with finding new drugs and stuff to treat the disease.

I'd think that breast cancer awareness would be in May to coincide with Mother's Day. As for me, I support all cancer research. My pastor's brother has been fighting a loosing battle for years and has just now been give 4-6 months to live.

Just curious. Does breast cancer kill more people a year than prostate cancer? Is there a higher % of death with breast cancer?

I think it's awesome that breast cancer awareness has branched off into sports, but I'm just curious why the NFL is in support of breast cancer awareness and not prostate cancer awareness.

**** cancer. I think some may not like the fact that breast cancer gets a whole month when so many other forms affect our friends and families, but I don't see it that way. Any money made, or awareness raised to help fight that awful disease is a good thing.

If you were going to carry around a picture to promote what you're saving, as in "save the boobies," then breast cancer would be a bit more pleasant, right? What picture would you carry around for prostate cancer?

Not to mention if they do have a breakthrough treating or curing the disease it would carry over to research of the other cancers that have an effect on people.
