    Default Week 2 Power Rankings

    32. Detroit (0-2) – They LOOK better…just haven’t put up the win yet

    31. St. Louis (0-2) – And there were fans that wanted Spags to coach Denver?

    30. Cleveland (0-2) – Not sure what to say. They all look like they’ve never played before

    29. Tampa Bay (0-2) – Only Detroit has given up more points in 2 games.

    28. Kansas City (0-2) – Losing to the Raiders cant be a good sign.

    27. Oakland (1-1) – How many wins can they expect with Russell at QB?

    26. Jacksonville (0-2) - Underachievers still underachieving

    25. Miami (0-2) - Last year was an aberration.

    24. Washington (1-1) – Will the offense score?

    23. Carolina (0-2) – Delhomme’s elbow is cooked and teams will not fear the passing game

    22. Cincinnati (1-1) – Showed they have the talent to play well. How often will it show up?

    21. Seattle (1-1) – Lost a big opportunity to gain an advantage in the NFC West

    20. Houston (1-1) – not a bad team when they play to their potential

    19. Buffalo (1-1) – Looked good this week…still not good enough

    18. Arizona (1-1) – Still no better than a .500 team

    17. Green Bay (1-1) – Will Aaron Rodgers please step up and win a game for his team?

    16. San Francisco (2-0) – If Gore can run 30 times every game, they’ll be fine. Took a big jump in winning 2 division games already

    15. Denver (2-0) – Starting like they should have…we’ll see what happens from 10/4 through 11/26.

    14. Dallas (1-1) – Dallas will NEVER win a big game with Romo under center

    13. Tennessee (0-2) – Not a good start for a team predicted to make the playoffs. They'll still win more than they lose

    12. Chicago (1-1) – Cutler rebounded after a miserable first week and Reed gave him 2 gifts.

    11. New England (1-1) – Not the same NE team from the past 10 years. Dominance looks to be over

    10. Indianapolis (2-0) – Not winning impressively, but still winning.

    9. San Diego (1-1) – Rivers could only do so much…just want enough.

    8. Baltimore (2-0) – Looking better than I gave them credit for. Flacco looks like a 5 year vet

    7. Atlanta (2-0) – The schedule doesn’t get any easier

    6. New Orleans (2-0) – Defenses beware.

    5. NY Jets (2-0) – Ryan has this team believing and making believers of fans.

    4. Pittsburgh (1-1) – A lot of bad breaks cost them the Chicago game. They’ll rebound nicely though

    3. Philadelphia (1-1) – Turnovers killed them in the end and the defense couldn’t adjust.

    2. NY Giants (2-0) – WR’s are stepping up and the team does what it needs to win

    1. Minnesota (2-0) – Not dominating anyone yet, but they really haven’t had to.

I can't say enough about that Jets team. I'm getting dish network from NY in this new apartment, and after seeing both of their games. Wow, I'm impressed.

Id still rather have Spags than raheem Morris. I feel bad for these guys down here. RM HC and Jim Bates DC.

How can Cincinnati be that low? I'm not going to use the fluke play should be 2-0 argument, but if you watched the Cincy Green Bay game you would have seen the packers get crushed.

I think they should be where Buffalo is.

To me the Giants are the best team in the NFL right now. They've played against harder competition than the Vikings have.

I think you have Minnesota, Philly and Pittsburgh a little too High. I'd put N.O. and the Jets ahead of them. Denver is spot on as well as Oakland.

    Good job as usual.

If anything, Cincy should be where SF is, IMO. They fought Denver toe-to-toe,
so I would not place them seven spots below Denver, especially after their
showing against GB, as you mentioned.

Of course, that is just my opinion, FWIW . . .

I agree. I mean where they are isn't unreasonable. Cincinnati benefitted from the Packers LT getting hurt (odom had two sacks at that point), a few drops from Jennings, and a ball that bounced our way from OUR fumble for a first down.

That being said we also gave Green two free TDs from uncharacteristically bad throws from Palmer.

I also think that Oakland should be ranked -45th.

Ratbirds are #1 on my list. They are going to destroy everyone in their path this year.

I dont know why people keep putting Miami so high. They are not good at all, exactly like you said. I think ATL also drops like a rock. Not down to the lower half of teams, but there schedule is a toughy.

As for the rankings, i wouldnt yet put us that high, or atleast above GB. I kinda feel that us, GB and Cincy, will all push hard.

The rest looks good for time of the year.

For the record, i got laughed at when i took the jets DST in Fantasy over the giants and ravens. I am still not sold on their offense, but defenses win championships.

Also i agree about the raves, they look really good right now, Awesome D, and Solid Offense, that is getting even better.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

Coach's #2 team resides in Pennsylvania. . . That's why Cinci is rated so low. It's Anti-Ohio bias.

    Just kidding Coach.

They're going to split with Cincinnati and at best will split with Pittsburgh.
