Some SC guys at the Senior Bowl..
https://www.si.com/college/southcaro...p-01jjt9ynqxgaKyle Kennard, EDGE
After a stellar 2024 campaign, Kyle Kennard was regarded as one of the early favorites to improve his stock during the showcase. He has shown flashes of brilliance that displayed the ability to transition his speed off the ball into brutal contact at the drop of a hat. However, some viewed him as stiff in certain drills, yearning for him to showcase more of the athleticism he is known for. With an abundance of high-caliber athletic defensive lineman at the showcase, Kennard still has the chance to show he should be mentioned as one of the best defensive linemen in the upcoming draft.
T.J. Sanders, DL
Known typically as a athletic player at the defensive tackle position, T.J. Sanders dropped everyone’s jaws after bulldozing a 285-pound guard. While he was already creeping up draft boards, his display of physicality has draft scouts buzzing about the potential from the talented defensive lineman. He has performed well in most drills and has shown he can win matchups against some of the most talented upper-classmen in college football. Sanders is generating buzz as one of the most impressive players attending the showcase.
Demetrius Knight, LB
Demetrius Knight has also impressed in practice. Teams have been impressed with how his frame stacks up amongst other linebackers attending. He has also shown great fundamentals, including playing well in zone coverage during scrimmages, as well as being sound in his lateral mobility and moving downhill. Several scouts/onlookers saw him as a standout during day 2, and have high hopes that he will be one of the “winners” of the Senior Bowl.
What about Elijah Arroyo from Miami as a developmental prospect if he's available a little later? Had some injuries and only really played this past year, but he averaged over 16 YPC with 7 TDs, and is supposedly viewed as an explosive, rangey athlete who works best as a flex receiving TE. Seeing in multiple places that he showed up in day one practices.
https://www.nfl.com/news/2025-senior...2025-nfl-draftOne of the things I had to weigh in my evaluation of Arroyo heading into this week was a major knee injury that limited him to just 11 total games during the 2022 and 2023 seasons. He was a heralded recruit coming into Miami, but he made just 11 catches from 2021 to 2023.
It looked like his athleticism and speed improved as the 2024 season wore on, and Arroyo validated that on Tuesday, looking fluid and fast in one-on-one drills when matched up against linebackers and cornerbacks. He ran routes with good leverage and frequently created separation at the top of his route.
Despite his relatively modest career snap count and production, Arroyo's flashes in Tuesday’s practice highlighted his potential and the reason my colleague Daniel Jeremiah included him in his initial ranking of the draft’s top 50 prospects.
https://www.nfl.com/news/2025-senior...2025-nfl-draft1) Tight ends put on a show. As Lance mentioned earlier in this post, Elijah Arroyo was one of the standouts of the first practice on Tuesday -- and I had a chance to talk to him and Miami head coach Mario Cristobal about Arroyo's breakout season in 2024. Arroyo finished the first practice with a great catch and was a clear winner from the day.
Then the second practice began, and LSU's Mason Taylor was giving Arroyo a run for Tight End of the Day honors. He's also the son of former Dolphins great Jason Taylor, who was on the sideline watching his son's every move on Tuesday.
"He's a natural route runner," Jason told NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero. "(He) catches the ball naturally ... kinda takes the ball out of the air and doesn't fight it."
The younger Taylor, who checked in at No. 35 on Daniel Jeremiah’s initial Top 50, ran great routes and made several eye-opening catches -- including a one-hander on a ball from Alabama QB Jalen Milroe that was outside Taylor's frame. Taylor also stood out in the blocking sessions as he tries to prove he's an all-around tight end.
Another exciting part: Taylor is still only 20 years old, with plenty of upside.
"They're getting a really mature guy for his age," Jason Taylor said.
Arroyo also is filled with untapped upside. His 2022 and 2023 seasons were marred by a knee injury that held him back, but good health and the arrival of QB Cam Ward helped unlock a lot of that talent in a strong 2024 season.
"He was healthy. That was the biggest thing -- the only thing -- holding him back," Cristobal told me. "Speed, power, size, strength, length, catch radius, ridiculous ability to accelerate and decelerate. Quite frankly, I wish we had him another year."
Cristobal believes Arroyo is in the mold of "the old Miami tight end -- Jeremy Shockey, Greg Olsen, Jimmy Graham" and others and will be an early-impact player in the NFL, even with his interrupted career with the Hurricanes.
"He's a phenomenal human being, and he's ridiculously smart, which will prepare him well," Cristobal said. "He's the total package now that he's healthy."
Arroyo said he played last season around 250-253 pounds, which falls in line with his Senior Bowl weigh-in of 251. He wants to mold his game after the Lions' Sam LaPorta and the Ravens' Isaiah Likely.
"I feel like they play how I want to play (in the NFL)," Arroyo said.

- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
Also, tough possession slot, you say? We could really use a guy like that.
https://www.nfl.com/news/2025-senior...2025-nfl-draftJalen Royals
Utah State · WR · Senior
Royals is a big, strong wideout who measured in at just under 6-feet tall and 210 pounds at the Senior Bowl. On tape, what stood out most about him was the way he attacked the position like a pro. That was once again the case throughout practice on Tuesday.
He's going to have a size/strength advantage against almost every defensive back covering him this week, but it was the way he ran his routes with efficiency and created throwing windows that impressed me. He played inside and outside at Utah State but projects as a tough possession slot in the NFL.

Man when I think of pro comps between Likely and LaPorta I’d guess Arroyo would be more comparable to Likely.
But the caveat is this; I actually think Likely is going to be even better than LaPorta, but I don’t think Arroyo has that kind of potential.

Players at senior bowl confirm conversations with Broncos representatives
https://denversports.com/nfl/denver-...-radar/2117017Players were made available to the media on wednesday afternoon after practice, and a few notable names confirmed they had talked to the broncos at the senior bowl. Kansas running back devin neal, bowling green tight end harold fannin jr., and. Minnesota inside linebacker cody lindenberg all noted that they had talked to the broncos during the interview process at the senior bowl
Some more on RB Devin Neal..
https://denversports.com/nfl/denver-...n-neal/2117012Given Neal’s abilities as a rusher and a pass-catcher and his sturdy 220-pound frame, it came as no surprise that the Jayhawks running back revealed Wednesday that he met with the Broncos during Senior Bowl week.
Neal’s skill set and production as a receiver leads to some comparisons with Saints running back Alvin Kamara, who burst into the league as a third-round pick in 2017 and has accumulated 11,541 yards from scrimmage during his career, including three seasons of at least 1,500 yards from scrimmage under current Broncos head coach Sean Payton.
In fact, versatility was the attribute he said he most wanted to show scouts this week.
“Definitely my versatility, just being able to do everything in the game,” Neal said. “And I think it’s really important for me because I think you can see it on tape how versatile I am.
“And there are some question marks around how good of a pass blocker [I am]. And I think today I kind of silenced that doubt a little bit, just showing that I can do it and I’m willing to do it, and it’s a vital aspect to being a running back, and I just want to show that I can do that.”
While Payton dismissed the idea of a single “bell-cow” running back at the season-ending press conference that followed the 31-7 defeat absorbed by the Broncos to the Buffalo Bills, a running back like Kamara could be a perfect fit as part of a two-player backfield package.
But all signs are that the Broncos are studying running backs closely. And Neal — who could go anywhere from the second through the fifth round...
Let's trade 2 firsts and a 3rd for Jamar Chase.
