On another note. I’m loving Bo Nix.
Bronco fans need to have patience with Nix. It seems many forget he’s a true rookie. Now, Payton can focus on building a great offensive line to protect Nix.

Watched the replay over and over, I just can’t get my head around how Forsyth was blown up so very, very badly. He literally flew backward onto his back, flew, backward. It was pop warner little kid football bad.

The decision to use the right hashmark backfired too. It allowed the Chiefs to attack where the kick was coming. Had the ball been centered, the kick would have gone over the longsnapper, where leveraging is prohibited.

I thought it was just lazy protection. It was a routine kick 90% of the time most teams in the NFL would have made.

It was on the protection, but the scheme the Chiefs were able to use at a weak point was also aided by the hash mark. It shouldn't matter, but it did.

    Aftermath: Vent it out!
The Broncos should have won this game. The refs missed or ignored this crucial call and KC blocked a field goal. NFL's field goal defensive RULES: No more than six defensive players can be on the line of scrimmage on either side of the snapper. KC had TEN players on the line of scrimmage. Check this out. KC had 10 players on the line. That was illegal. Proved!

It's legal. It would be illegal if they had 7 guys left or right of the snapper.

If you want to justify it that way. If I was Payton, I’d give that lineman the pink slip. No excuses. Set the standard.

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

The problem is, it wasn't just a one time thing. He should have been taken off the unit before this.

Undoubtedly, but all of our depth OLs are feeble scrubs.

That is so sad it’s hilarious. What in the actual fructose is the ST coordinator and Oline coach thinking?
