I’m sure Shake is a fellow space geek, anyone else?

I got to go to South Padre a few weeks back the day before the SpaceX launch, a lot of coworkers sent me videos of the launch but I didn’t get to stick around for it.

I’m a SpaceX fanboy, have been for a long time, and really can’t wait to continue watching this new space race. It’s showing the power of free-market, without a doubt. The head of China’s space agency was even quoted as saying the whole of China can’t keep up with SpaceX alone, nevermind the entirety of the US commercial space race.

I am. I'm not knowledgeable about it in any way but am fascinated by it. One of the coolest things I have ever seen is the shuttle hanging in Kennedy Space Center. It is so cool.

I have to admit that I could never be an astronaut. We went to Epcot one time and rode this astronaut ride narrated by Gary Sinese. It was a very intense ride made worse by our decision to choose the extreme option(terrible idea). I did not feel right the rest of the day.

Pretty sure if a ride at Disney shuts me down that astronaut stuff would just kill me.

Elon is like a real life Tony Stark.

That video of the shuttle coming back was insane. I had to convince my brain that the video wasn't running backwards. It was wild.

This was the view from my hotel room in South Padre, obviously I was zoomed in. My coworker stayed the weekend and took video from the room next door. It was awesome.
