Can’t believe Cam had that fumble, Cam is normally pretty sure-handed.

    Overall a good game.

Positives: Nix looked sharp and played from the pocket. Defense was great as usual. We beat a team we were supposed to beat. That’s what good teams do.

Negatives: couldn’t really get the run game going against one of the worst run defenses in the league. The fumbles. I mean WTF is wrong with these guys? We can’t afford to turn the ball over like this and expect to beat good teams. It’s great that Bo is protecting the ball, now everyone else has to do their part. If I’m the coaching staff, I’m fining guys who fumble. Just like teams did in the old days. The drops are annoying, too. Why did we keep Humphrey over Patrick, again? It’s great that Franklin can get separation, now he has to close the deal. That’s 2 drops on deep balls for him. The weird thing is, in college with Nix, he catches those 99/100 times.

This was the half price game I was able to get tickets to for my son and I and it turned out to be a good choice! I know Carolina is a bad team, but even after the early turnover and score there was just a calm in the stadium I haven't felt in a good long while. Once we tied it up and the way the defense was playing and the offense was moving the ball it was just a relaxing and fun atmosphere.

D looked solid, Bo went through progressions and was dealing it out there, and good lord turns out we DO have tight ends on National Tight Ends day! We left some points out there and some yards for sure, but i love the mentality. People want to give Sean/The Broncos shit for "running" up the score but Carolina started calling dumb timeouts and getting chippy and I think we just responded in kind.

Go at least 1-2 (preferably 2-1!) over the next 3 and we can stay solidly in the mix. I love it.
Go Broncos! Love us seeing build something up and winning while we do it.

5-3 at the quasi-halfway point is not too shabby for a team with a rookie QB. If the playoffs began this week, we'd be in.

To be realistic, I'll concede two future losses to the Chiefs. To get to nine wins, we'd have to find at least four wins among the *Ravens, the Falcons, the *Raiders, the Browns, the Colts, the *Chargers and the *Bengals. (*-road games). That's doable but not easy.

75% of the league is meh and we're part of it. We can beat/be beaten by most NFL teams but we're in a good position if we don't screw it up.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

The game was phenomenal. However, the offense needs to improve on ball security. Fumbles were not acceptable. Personally, I HATE fumbles.

The whole “running up the score” thing is complete garbage. Lest we forget, the Dolphins mercilessly hung 70 points on the Broncos last year. This is the NFL. You’re paid top dollar to win games. What were we supposed to do, run 3 times and punt every drive for the entire 4th quarter and save Horn some hurt feelings while hoping they don’t make a comeback? Too many teams get too comfortable with a big lead and play soft allowing other teams to crawl back into games and make them closer than they should be (or even lose).

Leave nothing to chance and keep your foot on the gas. The only reason to lay off on a team is to minimize the risk of injury to your own players with a game in hand, not to give the other team a chance to make it a more sporting contest. Continuing to play also gave Nix more valuable opportunities to take chances and see more snaps as well as the rest of the team to try out plays they normally don’t get to run vs other teams like the fake FG and the Sutton pass. It’s not the Broncos’ fault that Carolina is in shambles and were getting embarrassed once again any more than it was Miami’s fault they were able to embarrass the Broncos so easily last year. Horn and the other Panthers who were complaining are just a bunch of baby-back bitches.
