Default The Broncos at the owners meetings.

I thought this deserved its own thread because a lot of info about the league & Broncos will come out of it. But mainly because this bombshell that Sean Payton dropped to Ian Rapoport at the breakfast gaggle. A trade up is not off the table. I just hope that wasn’t the double latte’ speaking!

Paton confirming we may move up, stay @12, or trade back. Thanks, George!

Drafting a quarterback would buy them a couple more years with the fan base most likely. I think Payton is an excellent coach, but there are too many fans that don’t have any patience. This team played better the last half of last season than it had in the last decade, and with less talent on the defensive side of the ball since we got smoked by the Seagulls in the SB.

You know I love ya Al, but just how much patience are we supposed to afford this franchise? This franchise needs a wake up call. You can't continually ignore and or look for the easy way out of developing a QB. It's time for this franchise to do the job they make millions of dollars to do, and that starts with fixing the biggest problem that has plagued this franchise for all but 4 years out of the last quarter century.

Guys I have confirmed that the Broncos currently have the #12 overall draft pick. The breaking news is that the Broncos will either trade back, take a player, trade up, possibly have an undisclosed violation of league rules that results in forfeit of the pick immediately, OR they will let the clock run out and then the next team will be able to pick before them!

    Schefter-esque.
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
