Pro Bowl selection 14 times and was a ten time All-Pro, league MVP, and HOF. One. 3 defensive players to win league mvp.

Rod or Charles? I would take Rod Woodson over Charles Woodson too.

Yeah, Rod Woodson was a great cover CB. Honestly though, not as much a shutdown guy as Champ or Revis still. Fantastic corner and top tier, just not top top tier.

Rod. And Rod was considered to be the best shutdown corner of his era, sans Deion. Revis is also highly overrated as it's documented how much holding he did, and got away with. He also only had two or three elite years, though a lot of that was injury and happenstance.

Rod was one of the first guys to do the transition to safety, became the best safety in the league. We could quibble on if Champ was better than Rod as a CB, but as an overall defensive player? It's tough. Champ didn't have to transition and then instantly fell off a cliff. It was wild. Nothing from Champ, personally. I respect the argument. He could go down as the second best of all-time.

I disagree. Champ was the better overall player. Champ was also very good against the run and not afraid to tackle. Champ didn't make business decisions like Dieon but I would argue was just as good as shutting his side of the field down. Champ would go weeks at a time without a ball being thrown in his direction.

I'll take Champ over Woodson alldayeryday

Rod is one of the best tackling corners ever. So good that he could tackle as an old man, as a safety. Rod was a great blitzer and could cover the number one, and the slot. Rod Woodson is the only player in the last half-century to have five seasons with 6 INTs and a pick-six. The man's game aged like win.

Champ didn't get INTs because his arms weren't 25 yards long. Your INT stat proves me more right than you.

Woodson played in an era where the QB's just threw it to the number one guy. Champ also wasn't as talented of a ballhawk as Woodson. Not every year did they avoid throwing it to Champ. I was here for his prime years. I watched Denver ball. Plus, penalizing a man for tricking QB's into thinking the WR is open and then sneaking a pick is punishing excellence. Which means that you've outed yourself as a communist.

Chaz is a filthy communist! COMMIE!
