Default Sources: Russell Wilson to sign free-agent deal with Steelers

Nine-time Pro Bowl quarterback and former Super Bowl champion Russell Wilson plans to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers, league sources told ESPN.

Wilson will sign a team-friendly, one-year deal in which the Denver Broncos, who told him last week that he would be released, will wind up paying $38 million of his salary while he wears the black and yellow.

In a social media post Sunday night, Wilson wrote: "Year 13. Grateful." With it was an accompanying video of the Steelers and their fans.

We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

I mean, all that money he took from the Broncos without doing anything for the team and I would say he definitely is a Stealer even before this deal.

So apparently RW never mentioned the Walmart’s in his farewell message . . . I despise everything about the Walmart’s and even I think that’s trash.

I hate RW for making me defend the Walmart’s.

Broncos are in on Darnold it seems. Vikings are too. Question becomes if one of the two pays him low-starter money...

Wearing my tin foil hat, it’s almost like Seattle & Wilson planned to screw Denver. If it were true, they did a hell of a job.

Sam Darnold? I’m about to hand in my Broncos fan card.

C’mon Broncos, resist the urge to do something stupid like sign Darnold or trade for Howell or whatever dumb******y you have in mind… Neither is even an upgrade over Stidham’s sorry ass.

Stay the course! Atlanta is out of the QB market. Now we just need to let Minnesota get Darnold and get ahead of them in the draft and the rest is gravy! If I’m George Paton, I’m on the phone right now with ATL offering them PS2 straight up for #8 overall. I mean why not? There’s no CBs in the this class as good as PS2. They’d “win the off-season”. Having the #8 and #12 overall picks would be a great starting point for a rebuild. Damn, why aren’t I the damned GM?

If they said no, I’m calling the Jets to give them Sutton and #12 for #10 to get in front of Minnesota. If they doesn’t fly, I’m calling Arizona and offering PS2 and #12 for #4 to guarantee a top 4 QB (and hoping the recent McCarthy love causes Maye to drop to 4).
Do the right goddamned thing here, Pa(y)tons!!!!
