Probably not. Garrett waited a whole week to point out that he was allegedly called a slur. No player on the field said they heard such a thing, and no mic on the field, picked it up, either. No official said they heard it, either. There is zero evidence to suggest he called Garrett a slur sans the word of the accuser, who again, waited an entire week before he claimed Rudolph called him that word. Moreover, he had an amazing reason to fabricate such a statement; he lost his cool and attacked Rudolph with his helmet.
Garrett is an example of what race-baiting actually looks like, and never owned up to his ******y. But hey, when the advanced analytics geeks love you--PFF loves him, Jaded--and you can win DPOY without doing anything for damn near a third of the season, we can all look past him besmirching the name of a guy.
