In 2020 we drafted Jeudy 15th overall. Sure am glad we didn't reach for Jordan Love, he went 26th overall.

Same draft in round 2 we drafted KJ Hamler at 46th overall. Jalen Hurts was drafted at 53, good thing we didn't reach there, we might have missed the KJ Hamler era altogether. Wouldn't want that now would we.

Signing a new player to a contract extension before they even play a snap? What kind of a braindead, poorly run organization would do that.

That one actually kind of has an excuse. The story goes that the trade would not have happened without the extension because Rus had a no trade clause and the extension would have been announced at the same time but we were going through the ownership change so the extension was delayed. Can't go back on a deal like that because it would destroy the organizational trust from all players and agents.

The part of the trade that bothers me now in hindsight is what kind of vetting did we do? Obviously none at all. As soon as he lands in Denver we hear all the bad teammate, annoying locker room presence and most damning of all we hear about how so many in the building in Sea felt Rus was washed. Seems like some due diligence in researching the guy you plan on handing $200M and the keys to a $4B franchise to would have caught this shit.

That is $58M per impactful play.

Can you imagine how far $58M goes in Cleveland? I don't think the entire city is worth much more than $60M, I've been there trust me.

I wonder if the Browns scouted JJ by stats and PFF rankings . . . or maybe they saw the dude wasting away because Broncos QB’s were/are impotent.

Jeudy is a mix of not used properly and not taking advantage of the few opportunities he was afforded. Dropped way too many and that overturned TD when he had a good 3 yards to drag his feet but preferred to look all awesome and stuff instead and stepped OOB was the last straw for me. He just doesn't get it.

He will probably be really good for the Browns. I just don't even give a **** at this point.

Days later, I still can't believe they actually extended this clown. That's got to be one of the dumbest moves I have ever seen, and I root for one of the stupidest organizations in sports. Browns doin' Browns thangs.
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Do you think his phone dropped the call when they telephoned him telling him of the trade?
