Trading back in the draft is the Costco of NFL draft strategies. Trading up is Whole Foods. You get more bang for your buck at Costco but have you ever had Whole Food macaroons? They're ******* amazing and like $4 a piece. The macaroons from Costco aren't bad, but they aren't ******* Whole Foods good, not even close. Sure, you get like a dozen for the price of 4 but in the end you're much more satisfied with the Whole Foods ones.
Teams that trade back are saying, sure you take the talented guy, I'm going to take 2 scrubs and hope. GP is a big fan of Costco, he drafts like he's feeding a family of 12. SP is a Whole Foods guy. He wears loafers with no socks and $90 Neiman Marcus t-shirts. SP shops like trust funder with a coke habit (can you tell I've lived near Aspen my entire life?)
I am extremely interested in which way we choose to go. It might come down to whether or not Sean can find a Whole Foods open for business or he finds himself in a shitty part of town and the only thing he can find that is open is a Costco. I fear the latter is going to be the eventual outcome. .
Pretty fitting that we are owned by Walmart, their macaroons suck.
