    Get your puppy ready.
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

    Marvin Harrison Jr.
    Jeremiah Trotter Jr.
    Brendan Rice
    Luke McCaffrey
    And Jonah Ellis

Then next year we get Shad Sanders or wait another year and get Arch Manning.

This NFL GM stuff is ******* easy, what the Hell is wrong with these GMs?
Arch is about 3 to 4 years out, The Mullet guy came back to Texas for another season, so two seasons out is only plausible if Arch transfers this spring and starts right away.

I am hoping they are aggressive and go after whichever of the QBs they seem to be their guy. I think it comes down to 4 names: Williams(Not realistic but obv. on the list)Maye, McCarthy & Nix.

I am hoping they pinpoint their #1 and pursue him as aggressively as necessary. If that fails then target your #2 and so on.

All I know is this, if our first pick in the draft is not a QB and that's not on the heels of a Cousins/Mayfield signing then I will have lost all hope, because then this franchise is exactly as you described and has learned absolutely nothing. If however that first pick is a QB, I am going all in backing that guy, I don't give a shit who it is. The mere fact that they draft a guy will give me hope that they at least recognize the issue. I also still remember SP being one of the only people in the world to look at a short, skinny former second round draft pick with a shoulder injury and say "I like what I see in that guy." So even if it's Nix at 12 and everyone is moaning and groaning I'll be out buying a Nix jersey and anxiously awaiting preseason to find out what SP sees in the young man.

I swear to all that is holy if we draft a WR I am going to punt a puppy.

It’s happening prepare yourselves we met with Brock browers . Paton wants to fix our TE position lol.. Top 4 QB’s will be gone by 12. Paton already hinting he would like to trade back but it’s SP’s game so we will see. I am 100% convinced if SP wasn’t here we would be drafting bowers or trading back. Paton is just not very good at his job lol

We did meet with just about every QB so it’s clear SP wants to fix that position which is good. And we’re probably going to make a effort there.
    Denver's 2024 George Paton Draft/FA plan

    Draft
    RD1- TE Brock Bowers, GA
    RD3- QB Spencer Rattler, SC
    RD4- CB Josh Newton, TCU
    RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St

I'm okay with meeting with Bowers. Gotta cover all bases, he seems to be a generational type of talent at his position so meeting with him is due diligence. There could be a scenario in which our QBotF falls to us at 12 and Bowers slides because of his position and SP loves the guy and trades back into the first. Who knows.
There's also a lot of Bowers to the Chargers talk so perhaps a little Intel with the young man answering some questions about film and on the white board could also come in handy.

If you ever wanted to see what Ja’Marcus Russell could do if he had a great attitude you should draft Joe Milton III.

I am developing quite a man-crush on JJ. Which only means there is no way in blue hell we draft him.

I've been thinking about this. Let's say Bo Nix is SO's guy. He likes the other guys but knows he can't really get them and trading for them would cripple the team. What if they take BPA at 12, maybe Bowers even or LT or WR etc... then trade back into the later end of the first and grab Bo. If he deems Bo to be his realistic target anyway this would be a very exciting way of doing it. I love the idea of pairing a young QB with a young playmaker. Bowers would be a phenomenal security blanket for a young guy to lean on as he grows as a QB. A rookie LT and rookie QB is kinda terrifying but after the growing pains that could work out well.

I have an out of the box idea. Someone should draft Joe Milton and turn him into a Deebo/Taysom Hybrid player. Watch that dudes highlights, he's a nasty runner. He runs dudes over and he's huge. Imagine a guy you could use like Deebo but every once in a while he stops and pops a go route 70 yds down the field to a WR. He is excellent at that particular throw too. That would be fun to watch.

Should draft Milton and turn him into a Daunte Culpepper/Josh Allen player.

Ask the Falcons what it’s like to have a Brock Bowers and no QB, if Bo Nix is SP’s guy they can’t afford to get cute about it. Take Bo Nix at 12 and Trey Knox later in draft.
