We're looking at most likely Bo, Penix or one of the others Pratt/Rattler in the 3rd.

But it is the draft and weird shit happens.
Listening to nfl radio they were talking about nix… they sounded very impressed with him. Great intelligence, decent arm and accuracy.. maybe that’s our guy?

From what I’ve read I would grade Nix arm talent better than decent, I just think he’s a redundant prospect with Stidham aboard.

This is an example of when I’d got LT, OLB, CB instead.

I think Stidham and Nix have Derek Carr potential.

He comped to Tony Romo. He’s also a pouty ho and played poorly. Don’t be upset, sourpuss. You’ll draft McCarthy.

I'm ever so slightly coming around to the idea of BPA and Rattler in the 3rd or something. I would be pissed on draft night for damn sure. But I would be a lot less pissed after day two, just not anywhere near as excited as I'd be with a Bo, JJ or Penix.

The funny thing is that I used to hate Spencer Rattler. When he was thought of as a definite 1st end pick I hated the thought of us drafting him because of what a punk he looked like when he was young. He has really matured though. That's a good sign and he does have a good deal of natural talent for a 3rd round QB. I like his story arc, would be a pretty cool one if he becomes a good player.

You guys follow the college stuff far more than I do. I just listen to the radio, and read.

Nix as a better athlete than Stidham, but you have a valid argument.

Okay. When was the last time we had a QB as good as Derek Carr? How many times has Derek Carr kicked our ass? Stidham is nothing to me. I would do fist pumps if they cut him right now. Give me a QB roster of DiNucci and nobody. I am absolutely serious when I say I would rather we draft the best run blocking T and Joe Milton in the 3rd and run 30 go routes per game and turn and hand it off the rest of the time. It honestly has more chance of being a legit NFL strategy than Stidham because at least it would be different. Running Stidham out there is doing nothing at all, and if you think it'll mean we tank and draft a QB, then you haven't paid attention to this shit organization.

.my prediction, I'm calling my shot.

We draft a CB or Edge, probably Latu because it's a mortal sin to reach on a QB apparently but an edge who retired from the sport because of a neck injury is all fine and dandy. Pratt(not an NFL QB BTW) in the 4th and this time next season we are staring down the barrel of doing some BS sign and trade for Dak, Tua or Goff. The team that lets that player go will strike gold on a QB in the draft and Denver will be littered with Tua jerseys at the goodwill two years after that.

I have found my favorite YT evaluator. I love the first minute or so when he's bitching about all the "mother ******s yapping in my ears". I was dying. I love this cat.

Holy shit, I knew we sucked at drafting but until you see it all written out on the page it's hard to envision just how god awful we are at picking players.

Here is a list of draft years and the number of players still on the team from that draft. The farthest back we can go is 2016. There is not a single player on the roster that I can find from any draft before 2016.

    2016
1 (but it's Dixon and he left for 5 years, so not sure that really counts)

    2017
    1- Bolles

    2018
    1-Sutton

    2019
    0- that can't be good.

    2020
1- Strand(I think he's still on the roster but I mean really?)

    2021
6 out of 10. Damn 60% of our draft picks from 2 years ago are still on the team, it's a resounding success.

At least things are looking up, I think almost all of 2022/23 draft picks are still on the team, none of them have really done a damn thing of note but hey they're there.

    I love Derek Carr.

I’d take Dak in a heartbeat.
