Point this burning wreck in a direction other than off the road and start rebuilding as we drive it. I really hope that means a first round QB like Nix or Penix (huh huh huh) and just getting younger. Acknowledge the rebuild and I can live with a bad season until we are out of cap hell hopefully in 2025.

The reason I wanted a coach like Payton is to have a vision, let him have a few years to build it around young talent and lets see what happens. I'll leave the actual picks and free agent picks up to him and hope for the best because I am stupid and know nothing about football beyond Madden and screaming "GET A TURNOVER" at the screen as my dog cowers in the corner.

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Sorry Paton will trade our pick, and then draft a couple CB’s, TE’s and safeties. He might even pay stidham more cause he is an idiot. But hey he plays nice with Payton I guess. I doubt first rd QB is in the cards at all for us with our lame duck GM. Maybe Payton will sell him on penix or Nix, but I won’t hold my breath.

Paton is returning as a failed GM that got us into cap hell, and can’t draft or acquire talent consistently. We also won’t have money. I’m hoping for some Payton magic but let’s be honest it was a shit year under him as well so what’s to be excited about. I wish they come out say we’re f’ed and we’re rebuilding next year instead they are gonna fake compete with stidham or some scrub on our way to 9-8 again.

We've been the _enver Broncos, trading away out best players for draft picks that have been used to shore up the O, ever since he took over.

At the risk of being accused of trolling, I’d like to point out that the Denver Broncos defense is just fine. They don’t seem to be missing any of these defensive players that they traded.

I hope I’m doing this message board thing right, so hard these days.

Clark & Gregory were bums. Signing Randy to that huge contract when Hassan Reddick was available was colossally stupid.

So true… but I’m glad they got shown the door. At the time it showed a commitment to the younger players.. hopefully that pays off.

Yep. They should try the same thing with Wilson, Bolles, and Judy.
