Thread: Broncos Gameday Thread: Broncos vs Packers 10/22/23

I think that this is a winable game for the Broncos. I am sick of seeing the Broncos lose!

I think the tank is in. I don’t have much hope for the rest of the season. After watching several curious things about play calls, timeouts, play designs, etc that you’d never expect a veteran HC to do and with how bad the defense has played (even with VJ at DC), I’m starting to think that Payton had a talk with Penner before the season and told him he was gonna tank - not make it too obvious, but tank all the same so he could blow it up. Payton is one of the few coaches who can survive a tanked season in Denver and can actually develop a rookie QBOTF if we draft one (which I think is the goal). I feel sorry for those who spent their hard earned money on game tickets this season.

Go Broncos! I love this stupid team. May the outcome be whatever’s best to get out of this mess.

I don't think this team can afford to tank after the 7, going on 8 years of futility. There needs to be a glimmer of hope, and the only way to start establishing a winning culture again is to actually win. Getting 7 wins this season would go a long way to bringing this franchise back.

A coworker asked me earlier this week if I’ve given up on the Broncos yet. I told him that I’ve accepted the reality of who the Broncos are this year
