VJ should have been fired right away. Payton should be on the hot seat and Paton should be out of a job.

According to Rex Ryan after two games the Broncos offense averaged the most points in the NFL PER POSSESSION. Against the commandos they had a grand total of SIX OFFENSIVE POSSESSIONS.

In a hard cap league, EVERY TEAM will have a weakness somewhere unless they have a really productive rookie QB under the rookie contract.

Sean Payton isn't getting paid $16 million to be the offensive coordinator. That was his defense first, VJ's second. He hired the staff, he brought in the players, he signed off on the gameplan. I'm glad, frankly, that we didn't scapegoat VJ for the loss. I'm no VJ fan or defender - but Sean Payton has been a complete dumpster fire thus far.

By this logic:
Jerry Rosburg was at fault for the mess that Hackett left behind and both guys get full credit for the way the defense competed last year more than Evero.

When the Broncos lose by a total of 3 points in 2 games it’s a lot harder to defend Wilson and Payton . . . but 750 yards and 70 points is the time you choose to get butthurt for being called out. This isn’t just one fan, either, I’m thoroughly confident that a few other fans prefer this biased analysis.

Hey man, Jaded is Jaded but he brought some receipts and substantiated his post with some statistics.

The sad thing is we all agree and are right to some degree. This team is bad. but we argue who sucks more the offense or defense. For the defense, costly penalties week 1 and 2 then this joke. For the offense, this is now 3 weeks of costly turnovers. First two weeks offense justvanished entire parts of the game. Maybe Russ couldn't have put up 70 but honestly a 49-38 loss would be less ridiculous.

Everyone is right though. This is a mess.
