Having Jerry and Riley back could be a significant difference. I’m interested to see how the offense changes week to week as that was a hallmark here in NOLA under SP. I don’t like seeing Clark most likely out given how poor our pass rush is.
We should see the effects of having a real coaching staff, I don’t think our pass rush will be phenomenal or anything but I do expect significant improvement
Nice to have Riley healthy. He was good at Iowa. Ball hawk
27 got abused by Jacobi Meyers, #2 corner be on watch
I expect to win 24-17. Jeudy will help provided he stays healthy and catches the ball, I expect him to be the top guy Sunday and find the end zone. Riley could help our CB problems out but we have no pass rush at the moment so I expect WAS to still move the ball on us. Robinson and Logan Thomas will be big for WA IMO. This should be one of our 9 wins this season....
My thoughts exactly. I too predict that without a passrush wasington will move the ball. Just how much they move it i dont know, but it will be the difference between a win and a loss for denver. Judy needs to have one of her best games ever as a wide receiver for denver to come away with a double you
There are some sky is falling takes on local sports radio (aside from Mark Schlereth) over one loss because everyone has abused child syndrome after the last 6 or so seasons, so I've been living in my hopium bubble.
Our efficiency on our paltry 6 possessions and missing our weapons was enough to keep me hopeful about this week. And the more I think about it, the more I am feeling this could be a rocking chair win where we go up early and never look back.
Our defense has to get some stops and pressure the QB for sure, and our special teams needs to get their heads out of their ass, but I feel pretty good about this game. Week one is always crazy. I always have to think back to the Plummer years where we got blown the hell up week 1 (34-10 in Miami) and then went on to have a great season full of the normal ups and downs on our way to a 13-3 record.
I'm still going to withhold judgment until more of a sample size manifests, but as long as we keep building and don't stall out at 16 points again should be a fun season that HOPEFULLY gets us closer to where we need to be.

All they can really do is try to offset it from what I understand. Especially coming from sea level, it can take days to a week to acclimate fully. The advantage we have is no joke, makes you wish they would run hurry up offense more but I guess we gotta be smart with our personnel and playcalling too lol

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos will be without a pair of key players in Week 2, but they will regain one of their top receiving threats.
Denver ruled out outside linebacker Frank Clark (hip) and tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring) for the team's Sunday matchup with the Washington Commanders.
Clark did not practice on Thursday or Friday after being limited on Wednesday, while Dulcich did not practice in each of the team's three sessions.
The Broncos, though, should benefit from the return of wide receiver Jerry Jeudy. The fourth-year player is set to make his season debut against Washington after he was not given a game status for the Week 2 matchup.
