https://www.denverbroncos.com/news/b...l-roster-movesENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Ahead of the league-mandated roster deadline, the Broncos have made a series of roster moves.
Denver waived wide receivers Kendall Hinton, J.J. Koski and Nick Williams and defensive back Delonte Hood. The Broncos also released tackle Isaiah Prince.
Of the five players, Hinton has spent the most time with the Broncos. The Wake Forest product appeared in 29 games and started six contests for Denver, recording 39 catches for 486 yards and a touchdown. He also completed a pass in 2020 as he saw extensive time at quarterback during a matchup with the New Orleans Saints.
The Broncos' roster — including OLB Baron Browning, who counts toward the 90-man limit while on Active/PUP — now stands at 86 players. Denver must trim its roster to 53 players by 2 p.m. MT on Tuesday.

Jaded did a back flip when he saw Hinton was let go lol. Hinton is so GOAT he will go to PS again then come back to active roster cause all our wideouts are glass LMAO. It's a vicious cycle. Also letting Prince go was dumb as shit.
I like that Payton has been totally unsentimental about his team building, and I think his bias leans towards turning the roster over and getting rid of guys who were part of the losing culture here.
McManus, Hamler, Hinton - buh bye, don't let the door hit you on the way out.
Montrell Washington, Henry Byrd, Josh Hamilton, and PJ Mustipher were all waived/released so far this morning
I think it's hilarious that we released Montrell Washington.
Here's a little timeline not for the faint of heart.
2017: We draft Carlos Henderson and Isiah McKenzie to possibly be deep threats and returners. Henderson was a non factor and McKenzie showed promise as both a returner, deep threat, and fumbler for which he got cut.
2020: We draft KJ Hamler and Tyrie Cleveland for the same reasons. Cleveland is gone and Hamler can't stay healthy.
2022: We draft Montrell Washington because Hackett thinks he's got "juice" and can be our deep threat and returner. Now he's been cut because he can't do either.
2023: We draft Marvin Mims to be our deep threat and returner.
Meanwhile, Isiah McKenzie has outproduced all of these WRs combined.
Is it too much to ask for a decent return specialist who can also be the 4th/5th WR?
