I am not wrong! Prince is the better player, period/point blank, full stop, end of discussion. I don’t give a **** what PFF says, something other than ability is holding sway.

    Make it make sense?
I have no issue moving on from Patrick. My guess is neither will the broncos. TP will have to ball out next TC to even have a chance to stick around.

Yes, yes, the Broncos, a team made up of 80-85% black players and belongs to a league with similar overall demographics that turns hundreds of young black men into multimillionaires every year, are clearly racist because in one instance they chose a player who is white over a player who is black. I can’t believe I even questioned it.

No, he thinks he’s cute by trying to throw political shade at someone while not in P&R.

This isn’t P&R, if we want to make this a thread about racism, etc. there will be issues. That’s not what this area of the board is for.

Apparently the Broncos gotta save those draft picks to NOT use on the OL, probably got their eye on a few S prospects.
Simmons was financial. So was Trey Lance. The Broncos are tight against the cap so can't pick up their deal.

I'm not sure he's the better player, I am sure he was outplayed by Palczewski or at least didn't separate himself. Ability and actual performance are two different things.

Well, shit. Troy Renck just posted on FB that K'waun Williams is going to undergo surgery (he didn't say for what) that will keep him out for eight weeks. That blows. We do have some depth there, and Moss should be back soon, but Williams is a badass nickel.

Edit; looks like it's an ankle.

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Why did it take this long to go through the surgery? The guy injured his ankle at the start of August and could have been ready earlier if the surgery had taken place then especially since Riley Moss had his own injury.

I think they kept trying to see if they could heal it without surgery. He was out a lot of camp. If I remember correctly he went for s second opinion. I saw him Sat after the game and he was limping bad. I hope the surgery works and that he is able to heal.

Default Broncos CB K'Waun Williams undergoes ankle surgery projected to sideline him six to eight weeks

    Article dated August 28

Broncos cornerback K'Waun Williams underwent left ankle surgery on Monday, and a source said he is projected to be sidelined six to eight weeks.

The surgery was performed by Dr. Robert Anderson at the OrthoCarolina Foot and Ankle Institute in Charlotte, N.C.

Williams, entering his ninth season, was Denver's primary nickel back last season. That role to begin the season Sept. 10 against Las Vegas now should go to Essang Bassey, who had interceptions in each of Denver's three preseason games.

Williams has had issues prior to this season with his left ankle. He hurt it again early in training camp and missed the entire preseason.

Default Broncos add former first-round wide receiver as new Russell Wilson target

The Denver Broncos are looking to bounce back in 2023, but their injury situation at the wide receiver position has been quite dire throughout training camp. Tim Patrick tore his achilles in early August, which will hold him out for the entire season, and Jerry Jeudy suffered a hamstring injury that will keep him on the sidelines for the start of the season.

When the Broncos official 53-man roster was released, they only held four wide receivers, and with Jeudy being one of them, there were just three healthy options. It's clear that help was going to be brought in for Russell Wilson under center, and that help has come in the form of former first-round pick Phillip Dorsett, who is an old teammate of Wilson's during their time together with the Seattle Seahawks.

    Via Jeremy Fowler:
“Free agent wide receiver Phillip Dorsett plans to sign with the Broncos, per source. The former first-round pick reunites with Russell Wilson from their Seattle stint together.”
