    Default Training Camp News

Just a heads up for anyone who wants to go to training camp this year. The Broncos are running it differently due to restrictions on the amount of people that the fire department will allow in. Only 3000 fans per practice will be allowed and tickets are required. Tickets are free, but you have to get the from ticketmaster. They are available now through the following link:

Hope to see a few of you out there!

Someone said last year the crowd hit 7k . This year they capped it at 3k. Anyone know why ? I don't recall things getting out of hand.

    It's Arapahoe County:

The Broncos also apply for special parking permits because training camp crowds overflow their lots. The overflow lot is located at Dove Valley Regional Park, across the street from the Broncos’ facilities. The park is currently under heavy construction, so using it as overflow parking this year would probably be out of the question. According to a DNVR source with knowledge of the situation, the construction in the park may have factored into the decision to enforce the capacity limit.

I predict that the Broncos will conveniently have addressed all of the Fire Marshall's concerns when they increase capacity again next year.

Legwold said that the construction in the area might also be a factor in limiting occupancy, not just the parking situation, but safety restrictions.

After the Broncos drafted Riley Moss the narrative was that VJ would stick to Fangio/Evero coverage schemes, which fits Moss better. VJ apparently even kept Fangio/Evero verbiage.

If Moss was drafted to play like PS2, CHJ or Talibing then he’s being hung out to dry.

I would bring back Ojemudia if they’re going to run a lot of man-2-man.

You don't think SP has a good understanding of talent and putting people in positions with higher chance to succeed?

Riley Moss was so good at man-2-man that Iowa mostly played zone concepts, I don’t think I’ve seen any mention of bump-and-run coverages.

I would sincerely hope VJ is he one in charge of putting defensive players in a position to succeed. Payton’s genius is needed elsewhere this season, almost to the exclusion of defense.

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
