Default Broncos starting lineup according to the Omnipotent PFF

    https://www.si.com/nfl/broncos/news/...ction-2023-pff

Hopefully Josey Jewell only plays on run downs, Sanders is better.

Javonte shouldn’t be rushed, and that’s the feeling I’m getting right now.

Moss has to start over Mathis, period.

Also, I think Trautman is TE1, I don’t know if Payton is at all impressed with Dulcich.

Wouldn't be shocked at all if Trautman is TE1, he brought him in for a reason, but I think with some good coaching and scheming there's no reason Dulcich won't be a real weapon for us.

Hopefully Sanders play of the field matches the hype going around. That would be great

I feel better about CB with Moss, Surtain, Williams and then Mathis as starter quality depth. Jewell is a scrub. We also have no kicker now and the options out there are all rehashed scrubs. We also lack depth on both lines. We did just bring back Fleming so that helps with tackle depth a bit even if if he is a JAG. Cush is one of the worst centers in the NFL, and Trautman will be TE1 because while dulcich can catch and run, he cant block for shit.
    Denver's 2024 George Paton Draft/FA plan

    Draft
    RD1- TE Brock Bowers, GA
    RD3- QB Spencer Rattler, SC
    RD4- CB Josh Newton, TCU
    RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St

I doesn’t sound like SP is much of a fan of Dulcich, but imo, that’s just coach speak. Not much to not like about Dulcich.

Why is Cushenberry one of the worst centers in the NFL? I mean, a completely unproven Moss gives you warm and fuzzies but a proven NFL starter gots ya throwing hyperbole the other direction.

Cush has proven zero and has been a bottom tier center since he came to Denver. Moss is unproven and simply makes me feel better about some talent and depth at CB that's it, Cush is so bad I cant even consider him depth. He is utter trash at the center position. As for moss... for all I know he could be another Brendan Langley.....I was worried about CB this year I feel better we have some depth now, its that simple.

SP isn’t shy about saying things to media to motivate players. If he doesn’t like someone for some reason you’ll know, and if he gives a player a nice compliment you can take it to the bank

I don’t remember this much consternation about shitty C’s when JD Walton, Matt Parastiff and Connor McGovern were stinking it up.

Oh you were bitching up a storm about it back then, too.

What do you mean “…too”? That implies I’m bitching about Cushenberry now, (somehow) I’m actually defending Cushenberry.

Oh, you bitched about him and said the people defending him probably read his PFF grade.

Tim Patrick will start if healthy. If Hamler makes it out of camp healthy I would be shocked, and it wouldn't be surprising if Mims beats him. Patrick, Sutton, and Jeudy will be top 3.

Cush will probably start again, but I would like to see someone beat him out.

I would like to see Nick Bonitto or Sanders win on the depth chart at OLB over Cooper, but obviously they will rotate and Gregory/Browning are the top guys. KJax will start over Sterns.

I hope VJ watched last year's film on Jewel. Guy is best used to spy the QB in the passing game and not in man on TEs or RBs. Evero made Jewel look like a non-liability, and at times he came up big with interceptions of Mahomes.

No, Find me a post where I bitched about Cushenberry. PFF hates him, btw, just FYI.
