Only the next 2 paragraphs are identical to those found in the companion thread, “Looking for guests and topics for my new political YouTube channel.” Everything after them is promoting my ideas for the channel referenced in the tread title.
I started my AutismAmbassadorsUSA YouTube channel 13 years ago in order to educate people about Autism and all related issues. I’ve gotten very little viewership to my niche audience videos, so I’ve decided to try doing videos on topics of broader interests that many members of this community also have. Let me make it clear that I’m not open to changing how I make my Autism videos so I focus so much attention on making them entertaining that I’m not able to say anything that would make a difference in anyone’s life.
What I want to do instead is what a number of YouTubers have done by starting multiple channels that cater to different audiences, then cross promoting them during videos that they make. My 2 favorite history YouTubers, “Mr Terry’s Classroom” and “Vlogging Through History,” were both started by creators whose 1st channels were about video gaming that they both invite their viewers to visit. This is what I’m wanting to do with “TeachersaurusAndFriends” and “Teachersaurus4AllPeople,” “Teachersaurus” being the nickname many of my students refer to as.
“TeachersaurusAndFriends” is going to be a variety channel which, in most part, guest discuss a variety of random topics, just like we do on this message board. Everything from football to movie commentaries and more. I’m willing to discuss most subjects with you, even if I’m not actually knowledgeable about that topic. I have also come up with several regular series which will be presented in separate posts. This will enable those who might be interested in certain projects, but not others, to dialogue with me on just those they are interested in. However, struggle to do such videos without a partner for me to dialog with because its very difficult for me to monolog while staring at a video image of myself. I can also use someone who is good at video editing to at least teach me enough of the basics so I can do this on my own; or commit to editing my videos long term.
