Man, guy just cannot stay healthy. Probably time to write him off as a guy we can ever count on to contribute here.
Let's just edit the title to
Hamler healthy to play a game....1 out 23.
Guy just can't get or stay healthy. It will be more surprising when he plays a game than another thread with another injury.
Too bad, really like him but he is basically wasting a roster spot away at this point. I know we are a long way off from the season but sheesh it might be better to just cut our losses and try to find a more reliable receiver who can start to work themselves into the new coaches system. I just dont trust Hamler will ever be 100% healthy for this team.
Hope we stop entertaining offers for Sutton and Juedy now.

The guy has bad luck; sucks because he's definitely capable of playing WR in the NFL.

A WR getting a torn pec?
At least our player injuries are creative. 4-6 months probably translates to 4-6 years with our staff.
- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
They say the recovery timeline is during TC, or just before the start of the season. Assuming that’s correct, I predict in Aug. that he may practice, but when the final cuts happen, doesn’t make the team. He probably will clear waivers, and if so, he will go on PS. He’ll only go on full roster if there are more injuries to the room. If he isn’t healthy by day 1, then he’s put on PUP, but same situation when he’s ready to play.
And if he is promoted to the full roster, he will pull another hammy after no more than 2 games, and get put on IR permanently for the rest of the season. And that will be the end of his Broncos career, and possibly his NFL career.
