If it's not, I know some people who can make it happen.

Looks like Payton will in fact try to bring a decent chunk of his New Orleans staff with him, at least on the offensive side of the ball.

Former New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton is wasting no time in building his new coaching staff in Denver, and he's targeted four members of his old staff in New Orleans as prospects.
The Broncos plan to interview Saints quarterbacks coach Ronald Curry for their offensive coordinator position, multiple sources said Tuesday. Payton has also made an offer to longtime Saints assistant Kevin Petry, who has served for six seasons as a valuable member of the team's football operations staff, sources said. Petry, a Covington native and LSU graduate, is believed to be weighing his options.

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Interesting, Greg and Sean talk about how to build a new culture.

No George though. Unusual to not have the GM present.

My guess is Curry and Desai get the nods for OC and DC. Both can be hired during the interview due to being minority candidates, and I haven't heard anyone else as candidates.

And that also sets us up to receive comp picks if one or both of them get a head coaching job in the future.

I sure hope so, I don’t like the idea of settling for Kris Richard as DC.

Seems like Payton is going with younger, and presumably more cutting edge, assistant coaches, works for Kyle Shanatan and Sean McVay.
