Teams could literally draft next month..and then make him an offer and their 2 1sts will be in 25. @26 and probably worse than the teams that are possible landing spots for him now.
I if Atlanta and Tennessee are out, he may be hosed. I just don't see where else he fits.
When we do find that guy, weve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You dont find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.

Lamar is f'ed only way he gets traded if is he signs his tender and gets off the guaranteed contract BS, even then its a doubtful stretch, he wont though so its a stalemate he either plays on a tag next year with bmore or he doesn't play unless he chnages his contract demands..... He has no leverage its done its a wrap. He fell of the last 2 years its that simple he played the wrong card.

If players aren’t revolting or terrible for demanding a fully guaranteed contract worth large amounts more than the last person then owners aren’t wrong for refusing to pay it.

To use a phrase I just read in this thread, it’s either a business or it’s not, we don’t get to say that for players but not apply it to owners. They’re not vile because they have more than anyone else.

Colluding to keep guaranteed contracts out of the biggest sport in this country is disgusting, it happens, its always happened . . . but its ****** up.

Were not talking about Al Davis, Bill Bidwell and Mike Brown anymore, these are people that are buying dick-shaped rockets to shoot them and their buddies into space.

    Im just different!

The Jaded Broncos 2024 draft prediction; EDGE Jack Sawyer 1st round, RB Will Shipley 3rd round, and at least two more Ss in there somewhere.

FA/Trade; Mekhi Becton, Isaiah Wilson, Daviyon Nixon, DJ Fluker, Perrion Winfree, Dalvin Cook.

Hard disagree. People shouldn't be paid for work they haven't done.

Bull. Rob helped build that company. Sorry your friend didn't have any other options than to work at Walmart. That sounds like a him problem, not the Waltons.

I dont know if thats true; hes never had traditional weapons and given that chance. It might be true, but I think building around special talent is okay.

Collusion isn’t a legitimate business tactic; it’s such a sweet scheme though because we all see it and yet we can’t prove it.

I think it’s a moral failure to collude with fellow billionaires to not dole out guaranteed money after precedent has been set in the market. It’s inorganic and greedy. Hypocritical, too. The market sets out what these guys are worth. The Baltimore brass even admitted it; so now teams who need QBs are opting to not go after a guy who is at least on Watson’s level because they don’t want to shell out guaranteed money while pretending that Watson never inked that deal.
