I if Atlanta and Tennessee are out, he may be hosed. I just don't see where else he fits.

This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Lamar is f'ed only way he gets traded if is he signs his tender and gets off the guaranteed contract BS, even then its a doubtful stretch, he wont though so its a stalemate he either plays on a tag next year with bmore or he doesn't play unless he chnages his contract demands..... He has no leverage its done its a wrap. He fell of the last 2 years its that simple he played the wrong card.

If players aren’t revolting or terrible for demanding a fully guaranteed contract worth large amounts more than the last person then owners aren’t wrong for refusing to pay it.

To use a phrase I just read in this thread, it’s either a business or it’s not, we don’t get to say that for players but not apply it to owners. They’re not vile because they have more than anyone else.

Colluding to keep guaranteed contracts out of the biggest sport in this country is disgusting, it happens, it’s always happened . . . but it’s ****** up.

We’re not talking about Al Davis, Bill Bidwell and Mike Brown anymore, these are people that are buying dick-shaped rockets to shoot them and their buddies into space.

Hard disagree. People shouldn't be paid for work they haven't done.

Bull. Rob helped build that company. Sorry your friend didn't have any other options than to work at Walmart. That sounds like a him problem, not the Waltons.

I don’t know if that’s true; he’s never had traditional weapons and given that chance. It might be true, but I think building around special talent is okay.

Collusion isn’t a legitimate business tactic; it’s such a sweet scheme though because we all see it and yet we can’t prove it.

I think it’s a moral failure to collude with fellow billionaires to not dole out guaranteed money after precedent has been set in the market. It’s inorganic and greedy. Hypocritical, too. The market sets out what these guys are worth. The Baltimore brass even admitted it; so now teams who need QBs are opting to not go after a guy who is at least on Watson’s level because they don’t want to shell out guaranteed money while pretending that Watson never inked that deal.
