Don’t let their reputation guide you on this; no serious person can argue he’s not a top ten guy. You don’t move on from those unless you have good reason. This ain’t it.

They beat Cincinnati if they paid him and he plays. This defense gave up games LJ carried them in.

    He’s a solution, not a problem.

Football gods, punish them for their hubris.
If you just want to take hacks at Baltimore, I don't care about that. But if he's a top ten guy who deserves to re-set the market, why has no team shown even a whiff of interest? Watson was accused of reprehensible behavior, facing an uncertain future, and there was still a significant bidding war for his services. Why haven't teams been lining up to make a run at Lamar?
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Collusion. It’s a dirty, but open secret.

This isn’t true anymore, in my opinion. Matter of fact, I would have him run less.

Didn’t they just draft a C last year? Meinerz two years ago. Cushenberry three years ago. Sooner or later they need to start drafting something other than safety and center.

I keep hearing about how bad C is, Mile High Report and Predominately Orange are flat out obsessed with C position.

I don’t get it, Cushenberry and Glasgow are just as shitty as McGovern and Parastiff were, the Broncos haven’t had a top C since Nalen.

The problem is PFF, people think they’re a scouting service.

Whataburger is useless, and Meinerz is playing guard. And Cush is average at best. Nothing wrong with bringing in some cheap depth / competition.

Also, they could use another safety with Kareem likely moving on. . .

There’s bigger needs than C, the Broncos C’s have always been average best for decades. Why change now?

Move Meinerz to C and draft a guard. Or don’t do either and draft a ****** T for once.

A Lamar that doesn't run as much(depending on the cut in rush attempts) is a middle of the road QB.

Ill go over it more when King and I talk on Thursday but i will definitely have a lot to say on this subject.

I don’t agree, the notion that he’s not a passer is just old and dated.

Yeah. It's a brutal world even for world-class athletes who do singular things.

I believe it was the owner of GM who said, reportedly, that the Watson deal complicated the negotiations.

Dogfish pointed out that Watson had suitors. He did. And then a team eliminated from Watson’s pool of teams came back with that contract; owners were reportedly pissed because their big contractual trick is guaranteed money and trying to mitigate it as much as possible.

This is a league where teams throw money at QBs hand over fist. But now this guy has no interest?

Use common sense; he was still dynamic last season; how many games did that defense blow? At one point the Ravens looked like SB contenders.

Even if he’s not all that great, he’s good enough for teams to overpay; teams will always talk themselves into a QB.
