Yeah I don't get it. Not like we've really had a better punter since he left.

This reminds me of the Bill Burr bit in his recent Red Rocks special on Netflix (highly recommended) about how when there is a debate about male athlete vs female athlete pay nowadays, male sports pundits suddenly have to get super PC and act like it's this big debate, and not a super obvious answer which is that female sports don't really drive the same interest or ticket sales to support the same type of pay.

Marquette King was a total fruit cake. He started posting deranged videos about Jon Gruden, tried to fight local beat reporters, etc. He's a loser. That's why he's not here. And I'm completely fine with that.

If it was really about bad coaching and being forced into technique he wasn't comfortable with - why didn't he ever get another job?

Since he left the punters we had only kicked one yard less than his average. Riley Dixon has averaged a yard more per punt throughout his career and his percentage inside the 20 is nearly identical. Riley's probably a better bet on averages but he won't be able to straight up outkick MArquette I don't think.

Agreed. Also, if he were head and shoulders better than others those things WOULD be overlooked, we see it with at least one player on every team that their talent trumps their problems.

Buff just wanted to reference Bill Burr and found a way to shoehorn it in.

I hate it when I look at the batting order and see that Buff is hitting first and I'm 3/4.

It puts all kinds of pressure on me.

Buff, I need you to adopt a more Rickey Henderson style of message boarding. But not Rickey on roids hittin' dingers. The one who was cagey on the bases.

Like, if I'm Canseco, and you hit a donger, you are making me look bad when I get a K.

This Kyle Fuller will be for depth at Center, but not a starter. Since 2017, has 51 games under his belt but only 12 starts. Russ knows him from Seattle. I believe our starter will be drafted, probably with one of our two 3rds.
