The site you linked to tracks down data, it’s not the official site of the combine. It’s the only site that lists Staley at 34 inches.
He is like many other OTs who did great despite short arms. Geoff Schwartz has good takes on the matter.
The site I posted simply posts combine numbers taken from the actual combine . . . hence the name of the website; “nflcombineresults”.
As far as I’m aware of there isn’t an official combine website, I could be wrong though. NFL Draft Scout has always been my source for both combine and Po Day results, they also simply regurgitate the actual combine results.
If Staley is butthurt over the results of his Pro Day results that’s taken by various teams, sometimes even the school’s employees. Either way someone took those measurements and they did so because it matters.
I stand by this; if he measured 32” instead of 34+ he would’ve been drafted later and he would have been moved to G. It almost never fails.

This isn't some official source my man. These are dudes going from source to source and posting information that they admit is not fully guaranteed. This is why. You can find numerous source after source after source after source--like the ones I've posted--that tell you he had arms shorter than 34 inches. He himself says that. What's more likely: every last other source around and the player himself, and his pro day measurement is wrong, or someone else online, on that site, made a mistake?
Where did I say it was official? I literally said that I Don’t think there is an official combine website. I said they regurgitate actual combine numbers.
What the **** are we arguing next, water is wet? Sky is blue?
I can do this all day.

But they get those combine numbers from the same sites I’m using; I’m not straw manning you. I’m simply saying every other source but that one disagrees with you, including the guy whose arms were measured.
He had short arms. He styled. As a OT.
Those are combine numbers but not necessarily received from the combine itself.
Jaded why you gotta be a big bully and shit on me wanting Tyjae Spears?
Tulane doesn't get this good an NFL prospect all that often, let me have him!
Interesting - during the presser @ the combine this morning, Paton was wearing an old D logo...

Paton comes on around the 24 minute mark.
(won't let me post the video for some reason)

34” is not short, 33.5 is passable. 33” is Ty Sambrailo area, 32” is death.
Ourlads is another; 34 1/4”, numbers taken straight from combine festivities. Staley is probably bitching about his PD and embellishing his experience. It matters, it matters to Joe Staley because this topic triggered him to comment on it unsolicited. He took it personally, so much so that he even exaggerated the results you’re finding.

Another thing we’re not even discussing is wingspan, which isn’t possible to **** up during measuring and it’s the first thing you look for. If a player has a span in the 82+ then he’s most likely an NFL T, some players have the span but shorter arms because they have broader shoulders. Ideally you have a player with both, like Dawand Jones, damn near 90” span with 36” arms.
You can have 33+ arms if your span is 82+.
