Daniel Jeremiah thinks the Donkeys can still find some useful talent in the third round.

"When you look at the Broncos and the directions they could be looking to go, I think O-line [and] D-line obviously would be the places where you start," Jeremiah said. "I think from an offensive line standpoint, I feel pretty good about the interior and some of the depth you could find at that portion of the draft."

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

This would be outstanding; Zach Harrison, Adetomiwa Adebawore or Tuli Tuipulotu, along with Dawand Jones in the 3rd round.

Listed at 6-foot-6 and 271 pounds with 35-3/4-inch arm length, Harrison is significantly larger and stouter than any EDGE currently on the Broncos. While not a very bendy edge rusher, his combination of length, power, and burst all would bring a unique player to Denver’s defensive front filling a niche the team likely needs. As a player who could play in a variety of schemes and in different techniques, Harrison would be a great pick for Denver at pick 67.
An OLB with the size to set the edge in the run game is a huge need.

If we use an eighth of an inch “fudge factor,” you can see that only six offensive tackles have made All Pro over the past six seasons with “below average” arm length. Those six are Taylor Lewan, Ryan Ramczyk, Joe Thomas, Joe Staley, Mitchell Schwartz and Donald Penn. You should note that none of those six have arms that are as short as Teven Jenkins (although Penn is close).

If you can overcome it in boxing and MMA you can definitely overcome it in the NFL. Note those are just the elite names at OT. I'm sure we could find solid/average OTs' with shorter arms, too.

Arm length matters; it is not dispositive.
Aside from Schwartz all those players had 34” arm length, minimum, that’s an NFL requirement. This is not even a debate and I’m not sure why you keep trying.

T’s with 32” arm length is simply dogshit roster management, I would let Mauch play G for me.

    Size doesn’t matter, apparently.

Btw, Tevin Jenkins, the player that motivated Mahoney to do this research . . . playing G now.

    He’s literally lying.

Arm length and wingspan are of the utmost importance, that’s why they keep measuring.

Or every other source but one agrees with me and you have one. Which isn’t…the dude himself.

I have literally shown you plenty of guys who achieved high levels of play that fly in the face of your absolutism.

It’s a good thing to have long arms; it’s not a requirement. It is a stupid debate because those guys exist. You can even did talent evaluators saying arm length matters but it’s not dispositive. You are a meanie

That why trading Chubb was IMO. They really believed undersized guys like browning and bonito and a project like cooper would get it done and we knew better.....Paton is literally in a make or break year IMO.....no excuses this time. Everyone in the NFL knows we need pass rush, OL and DL. So if we do some dumb shit like TE, RB, and S FML.....

Pro Day measurements aren’t official if the player also attended the combine, same with bowl game weigh in results.

It’s a stupid argument because it literally matters to the 32 teams in the NFL, now meatheads like Staley (slighted by what they perceive as criticism) and so-called analysts can squeak all they want . . . it matters.

The dude Mahoney wrote about was forced inside to G, my money says Staley’s lil’ buddy, Jonah Williams will be forced inside too. This is the way.

    Literally.
