This year we'd have a 2, 3, 3 to start the draft. I like that.
Next year we would have 1,1,2,3,3.
I would use either 1st rd pick 2024 to move down and get another 1 for 2025. The pats did this and it worked so well for years. I really think unless it's a sb push like 2013, we should always have 2 1st rd picks and Always use one to move down and acquire another for the next year.
With salary caP having a rookie salary for 5 years is so important!
The Plan at the moment:
Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).
Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

Well, it was nice while we had it. Like sand, first-day picks just sift through our fingers.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.
Cody Mauch is a college LT that is working at C during Senior Bowl one-on-one’s because he has 32” arm length. It matters, shorts arms are the kiss of death.

If we use an eighth of an inch “fudge factor,” you can see that only six offensive tackles have made All Pro over the past six seasons with “below average” arm length. Those six are Taylor Lewan, Ryan Ramczyk, Joe Thomas, Joe Staley, Mitchell Schwartz and Donald Penn. You should note that none of those six have arms that are as short as Teven Jenkins (although Penn is close).
If you can overcome it in boxing and MMA you can definitely overcome it in the NFL. Note those are just the elite names at OT. I'm sure we could find solid/average OTs' with shorter arms, too.
Arm length matters; it is not dispositive.
I'd like to see us acquire another 3rd rounder. Shouldn't be too expensive and can add some critical depth near the front of the draft.
So 2 3rds. Bet they don't draft a RT. Why not continue a decade plus lesson in futility.
NFL Network pimping Jake Heaner at the Senior Bowl, will the scrub propaganda ever end?
I’m watching to see if Tyson Bagent looks legit vs the step up in competition.
