Haven't seen it posted yet, but you can bet I'm lying in the weeds so I can start the "fire the interim" thread.

Unless it does end up being Evero. Don't want him fired.
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

No reason to hire another coach, just open up a self play call line and save on the expenses.

Evero, because Kubes has nepotism working for him and Evero could use a couple games to raise his profile. Much harder for for Black coaches to get shots to coach teams, and IMO he deserves all the kudos he can get for keeping Denver's defense together for as long as he did. Hoping he gets out of this with his rep intact and the next friend that gets him a coaching job doesn't push him into a burning dumpster fire like this.

I'm curious to see if he's a legit candidate to get the full-time job here. Personally, I'd take him all day over the Dan Quinn's of the world.

I would hope Evero and Kubiak would both be candidates.

Evero hopefully learned what not to do watching Hackett this season. Evero paired with Reich as OC I could live with.

Paton and Hackett should have been a packaged deal. Just start over all together.

To be fair to Hackett, he did get stuck with Russ as his QB. Other bad coaches like McCarthy, the GB cat, and Kingsburied at least got some mileage out of their talented QBs and looked better than they are/were as HCs because of them.

Can somebody do us a favor and find the thread where the Broncos were doing that embarrassing behind the scenes stuff with Hackett when they first hired him? I think it's only fair that we laugh at the people here who were eating it up.

They had hope and optimism, fam. It felt good and decent for the first time in a long time. Have some damn decency! Why are you such a monster!!?!? Where is that sweet and kind Abe?

But to be fair to you...yeah that shit didn't age well.
