    Also, Kubiak.

It also begs the question as to what Outten actually does. ??

Almost always the first sign of desperation from a coach who knows he's on the hot seat.

Andy Reid did this once or twice. Kudos to the man for not letting his ego get in his way. Much like when he brought in the assistant coach in the booth to help out. Speaks to Hackett as a person.

But it also speaks to his struggles.

So what the hell is our OC Outten doing then? I’m fine with Clint giving it a shot, but what the hell? Lol

Edit: Just saw Joes comment sane question!

Hope it helps, probably too little too late.

I'm kind of excited about Kubiak, but I'm a rare guy who liked his Dad as a coach as well. I never thought Gary Kubiak got the credit he deserved.

Hopefully some of his Dad's abilities rubbed off, or got handed down. His dad helped turn Plummer into a serviceable, even pro-bowl caliber QB. I dare say Klint has at least as much raw talent to work with in Wilson as his Dad had with Plummer.

The Vikings scored 25 points/game with Kubiak at the helm, 14th in the league. Cousins had a pro bowl year with 33 TDs and 7 INTs. Kubiak did a fair job. The Raiders have a great defense for him to start out with. Denver should be able to march up and down the field on them. I don't know what's going to happen today, but my expectations just went way up for this game.

Klint was really good in Minnesota. He's probably going to be your next head coach.

Fwiw, iirc, Klint Kubiak has been “Passing Game Co-ordinator” from the beginning.

Desperate coach is desperate. Too little, too late.
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
