“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

You mean to tell me he had go free some space in his head so he could make desisions like do we take the penalty and make it first & 20 or the play and make it 2nd & 17?

Or to keep playing Melvin Gordon after his 4th fumble in the last 4 games.

He has given up his game management duties and his play calling duties…now if he would just give up whatever is left, we should be all set!!!

I'm not so sure he has given up full game management duties. The call to decline the holding penalty from the play that made it 1st and 20 instead of 2nd and 17 screamed Hackett all over it lol

What's even sadder is he actually checked Gordon the right way by letting him sit and stew on the bench that one game. Then Gordon went pouty ho, and Hackett tried to be his buddy. Just ruined the whole LR message at that point. the dude just cant coach its that simple and obvious. He only made the move know because of the intense scrutiny on his job. Otherwise he would say he knows Gordon has to hold onto the football and he would trot him out here next week as the starter still.

Regardless of the outcome the offense was far more efficient this week. I would say it's a pretty good look for the first time out. I know this will draw some ire from you jaded but I still love you.

“ QBs coach Klint Kubiak was handed the play-calling duties, and he turned Wilson into a glorified game manager. In the game against the Raiders, Wilson threw six of his 31 passes beyond 10 yards, with just as many thrown behind the line of scrimmage.”

Kubiak thangs, dink and dunk/game manager porn.

You ever think that was maybe all he could do? That's the best Russ we've seen. And in his early years he *WAS* a game manager.

If Kubiak is Broncos HC going forward I will be more thankful that the Broncos are stuck with Russell Wilson . . . I’ll take THIS version of Wilson over the dogshit these Kubiak’s prefer at QB.
