Next few games will be telling as to the true issues on the field. Should be interesting.

Wilson is the biggest issue but this has the potential to make it look like it was Hackett, imo, Kubiak spends more time with Wilson than anyone and might just be the what Wilson needs to get his head out of his ass.

This also does nothing to make the OL anymore talented.

I'm not so sure Hackett had a choice in it.

He has a pedigree. He has had some success. He fits the mold of what is working in the NFL. Every indication is he's really talented and works hard. If you think Cousins is so awful then you should love him because he got that much out of a scrub and you think Russ still has gas in the tank. Even if he just runs an updated version of an old offense (Shanny Jr. is/was doing this for a bit, albeit he ran different offenses everywhere he went and Mcvay falls into that same mold) that offense would make good use of Russ' talents. Even if the fear is that he loves scrub QBs you can't get rid of Russ for awhile, and again you think Russ is going to be okay.

I'm willing to admit that I might be the ignorant ******* here, but what am I missing?

Of course this doesn't make the line more talented because it has nothing to do with the line. You might as well say this could work but dammit it won't help the LBs cover. Except, maybe with better playcalling you can mitigate how bad the line is.

You’re saying the Broncos OL isn’t the single biggest issue on the Broncos?

    Bold strategy, Cotton.

Well you have one of the biggest flops at HC in recent memory and the line is dealing with a lot of injuries. You also have a QB who might be washed up and isn't doing the things he is capable of to mitigate said issue. So while the last one is debatable, the first one seems hard to debate.

I’m not currently entertaining any notion that the OL isn’t pure hot garbage.

I never said it wasn't. I lied in the other games thread: I won't miss you.

The Bears have most of their starters and are still worse. This is just my way of interacting with you so I can ask you to hold me. Chazoe, hold me, please.

    So pure.
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
